Green Asparagus Puffs

Asparagus, cheese and crispy puff pastry make a very appetizing combination for a quick healthy snack.

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry
  • green asparagus
  • firm cheese
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Cooking method:

  1. Pour a little flour on the work surface and roll out the puff pastry on it. Grease with olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Cut the puff pastry into squares measuring 15x15cm.

  3. Wash the green asparagus and cut off the dry ends. Wrap the asparagus stems in the envelopes so that the dough covers the asparagus. If you wish, you may add some cheese inside.

  4. Sprinkle cheese on top.

  5. Put in a preheated oven at 1800C-2000C for 20-25 minutes until the dough is cooked.

  6. Serve hot with white wine.
